about

Graduated a year ago with a 1st Class Degree Honours from London College of Communication, University of Arts in London to then join Anomaly’s newly set up London office. I still haven’t been able to make up a relevant title for what I offer as the traditional creative role seems too limited in its output at the same time as the planning role in advertising ends far too soon in the process. Call me a hybrid.

Proof of my confusion is an offered place on the highly competitive account planning graduate scheme at BBH and being winner of UK Young Lions 2010 and the awarded Bronze Pencil and Merit in One Show’s College Competition as well as being Finalist in Future Lions, two years in a row.

Coming from a lifestyle magazine background and extending that to freelance services in trend forecasts, research and strategy for clients such as Really Interesting Group, David Report, Mare Research, Lunar BBDO and Mark Borkowski PR has given me an edge in understanding cultural relevance and content targeting.

Relevance is also where I differ from the traditional creative in advertising as I always look to engage the target audience in their cultural context rather than try to attract or disrupt them with messages built novelty or effect seeking.
